Don't Save your Chips - Feb. 16, 2022

we look for the rose

and thorns greet us first

hope for a beach day

and rain wins the bet

still we should never

stay inside with

perfect weather

or fail to share

warm feelings

or a swollen heart

ride any slippery fortune

when it does come

from both worlds all worlds

love hangs around noble gamblers

who have already won

before they ever lose
