one day I fell from my dream sky

into the lap of a blissful presence

I was dressed in the skin of a plump infant

allowed to suckle from a magical world

given a newborn’s eyes that saw

Him bathe me in pure light then

swaddle me and the entire universe

with a single cloth

OK so I made that up

but it got me thinking about

the One who gives birth to dreams

and a big wide world

to chase them in
