half of you is

comfortable inside

the other half

craves the outdoors

one that likes routine

the social web civil discourse

with family and friends

for clues listen for movement

can we ever grasp

this enigma of the beast

within the man?

the wants and needs

of one part

so different

from the other

and then there’s that

mysterious something

that stalks me

on some full moon nights
