with everyday words expressing
certain holy needs
though I wonder
would you read a book called
A Normal Murder?
buy a painting called The Customary Sky
or watch a lecture about
“How to be Nothing Special?”
If the goal is to impress God
With a muscular will
And an exceptional vocabulary
Wouldn’t you look for
The Book of Extraordinary Prayer?
