We Still Huddle - June 2, 2022

now it’s deep space

we explore

with determination

sharp minds

and ever finer instruments

while the discoveries

on our inner frontier

remain stuck in the

Stone Age

don’t we still huddle

in dark caves inside us

afraid of night feelings

dream monsters

haunted histories

and even with a roaring fire

still shiver from the cold

shadows on the wall?
