age and its army of years

are not your sickness or the enemy

it’s the risks never taken and

possibilities lost with them

host a dinner for all your neighbors

buy drinks for the whole coffee shop

if you really want to be remembered

snap out of character and change masks

every once in awhile

be a menace to your comfort
