A Sunday Sigh - July 3, 2022

I still do this

at the end of each week

observe the chores completed

insights gathered

love earned and spent

and grade my life

a smattering of

A’s and B’s for Effort

D’s and F’s for Declined or Forgotten

my C- average

has slipped from

the B+ it once was

I guess at some point

we flunk out of existence

see why I sigh on Sundays?
