Air Traffic - Oct. 11, 2022

above the pond

the dragonfly’s dance

beautifully unrehearsed

from the phoebe’s rock

a dip-dive to snatch a fly

hummingbirds crisscross

mad drones unleashed

thirsty bees solitary wasps

little helicopters on lily pads

mourning doves with quick

sips and quicker gossip

gotta run hi and bye

on the fly

kind of like thoughts

that come and go

land and take off

unrelated visits

mysterious destinations
