reality can’t go beyond

doors cracked but not opened

won’t follow the migrations

of that slippery bird of love

will not take you down

roads that lost their light

or out windows broken

but never escaped from


we remember some

of the thousand possibilities

of so close and what if


each a shadowy life

on a murky path

that dies


with the breath of dawn
