Dawn Shift - Nov. 7, 2022

the blue is silent

the sun an opened curtain

the tired-eye earth like us

awakens to bird song

the dogs and I walk

along a quiet crease

a mere wrinkle of

its huge body

still deep in shadow

half asleep

the signage

yet to be changed

from a highway

in moonlight

to a single path

at dawn
