there is something nice
about having dogs as kids
as the teenage years approach
they have no desire to spend more time
with friends and less with parents
nor do they seem embarrassed
being seen in public with mom or dad
and they never lock the doors
to any rooms hog the bathroom
or take over the house phone
one thing not so different
it is impossible to get them to
to clean up after themselves
