Happy on a Rainy Day - Nov. 23, 2025

each of us has a sun inside

that with some feelgood news

can burst forth and turn

bad weather into silly

drops on a rainbowed canvas

 

doesn’t matter if it’s raining

cats and dogs outside,

that thick warm light will

spread and seal the cracks

in anyone’s roof

 

so, on an otherwise miserable

day, that sunny beam draws

others, who will make attempts

to slip under a corner, for one dry

moment inside an umbrella of happiness
