we have one foot in this world

and the other in a dimension

where it dangles free

touching no bottom

one philosophy for happiness

that’s adoptable is to be kind

enjoy life and every so often

leave a gift addressed to “Finder”

outside your front door

because if you happen to be

in that other place when a toe

is tickled your deranged laughter

will at least be associated with a

quirky if not friendly heart
