your life was

mere minutes

from annihilation

how would you spend

those last few seconds?


Isn’t love that

talented and audacious actor

you’d ask to clutch

any nearby players

and whisper your living will?


And after that curtain-fall

of bequeathment

the tragedy

of

no curtain call
