Israel and Palestine - Nov. 17, 2023

a bear was used to

being nibbled while sleeping

but one mouse took

such a big bite that he

awoke to blood

the beast roared and

started to tear into the tunnels

where all the mice lived

tails ears bloody fur and body parts

mixed with the torn earth

and still he ran deeper and deeper

into secret caves and passages

with the larger creature in pursuit

ripping apart more homes and families

and any escape they tried

and so the question for the bear

is the same one for the mouse

if the consequence of action

is always an equal or greater reaction

what is the end game?

what is the bet

if it heads or tails

of a faceless coin?
