As this world continues to worship intelligence,

busy hardening dreams and impossibilities,

what new niche will the heart find?

 

as virtual becomes real and flights

of fantasy turn tangible, stimulating

our pleasure centers off the charts,

 

love may have no choice but slip back

to the Dark Ages, settle back into myth,

romantic legend and dreamy fairytales

 

and only spoken to sleepy children
