Why not include mama’s name

in the celebration?

many in the world

place Jesus the Savior

on an unseen pedestal

taller than the sky

but in a dirty stable

she delivered him and with

little means cleaned fed

cuddled and spanked him

Do moms ever get enough credit?

with all the lifting carrying

diaper-changing endless cooked

meals after barrels of her own milk

uncountable hugs with head kisses

I think somewhere in there

you’ll probably find a Holy Ghost
