Moody Me - Feb. 18, 2022

I eyed a fish in the water

and it ignored me

looked up and the sky

never shared a smile

some birds were singing

but not for me

the grass lay quietly

blades stiff with indifference

and a rude wind rushed by

in some kind of big hurry

but I never doubted when I looked away

that God told them all to relax

wait and see if this guy walk’s by again

maybe with a shift in attitude
