sun and clouds are quarrelling

today, cutting each other off

I assume it’s normal to fight

after the rain has left

one of them misses it, the

other is glad it’s gone

clouds still mourn while the sun

insists, time to move on

isn’t that our struggle too?

how much to linger in a

memory or get back to

living in the present

the only solution I know is

return to life, knowing there’ll

be times when it rains again

where you can enjoy the soaking

comfort  of sadness

until one day, it leaves you

looking for cover
