Oh, Alice - March 8, 2021

for a fast rabbit it was

a dramatic entrance and smart

well-funneled north sided overhung

with a dense branch shaded from

discovery a deep dark hole full of echoes

so with curiosity teetering at the threshold

and my imagination running the

chambers below I thought

oh Alice

Alice Alice Alice

wish you were here now

to understand and sympathize

as I would you if either of us or

both were to lean in more than we should

and fall for the lure of yet another mystery
