Pandora’s Box - July 1, 2024

today  clouds kept interrupting the sun

and the wind’s rather unsure of itself

I napped at noon and lunched at 2:30

I’m stuck on one of the spokes

of a roulette wheel  in between

puzzled and worried

my brother and I talked AI this morning

lost track of time because of all

the ways it would impact the future

I typed in “write a poem by Gary Hunter”

and thought it turned out darn good

“darn” being almost worthy of good

but on the other hand

good enough for a bad day

like today

and I honestly don’t know

how tempting Pandora’s Box will be

so close to my fingertips
