if your front door

is your car door

and your bedroom

your backseat

and your trunk

your closet

try to park at night

where you can put

each day in your hand

and play catch with the moon

take deep breaths with each pitch

then stretch high and guess

which star might be

the next to fall

hope needs fresh air

as much as you
