if you miss one

you can catch the next

and in the traffic of thoughts

they are usually the oddest-

looking sometimes the slowest

and often appearing lost

which other ideas honk at

to get out of the way

they carry only one passenger

and display no destination

the one I flag down is empty

so I board and tell the driver

Listen – the only place I want to go

is someplace I’ve never been

You game?
