Poetry to Launch - Nov. 20, 2022

I know the sky

is not really blue

the sun and moon

neither rise or fall

and stars certainly don’t wink

so to make life

less scientific

less circular

and repetitive

less appearing alive

but already dead

we have poetry to launch

from this hot dusty earth

it is great fireworks

a show anyone can enjoy

keep watching

and you’ll find a favorite

one that burns brighter

than all the rest

one you'll follow closely

across the sky
