Single in Iceland - April 10, 2025

walk a blue lagoon

see how the mountains

are white sketched

at the top

watch the neon show

of the Northern Lights, then

turn around to orange snakes of

lava, twisting in the darkness

loneliness, also, has elements

of temperature and distance

warm bodies need to be close

and in Iceland with

so many cold miles

holding too few choices

it must be a challenge

to un-single oneself
