over the heads of critics


to the fattest gold sun

on a winter day


in soul-baring friendships

falling into a net of love


to my perfect dream ending

and end-of-the-day perfection


something unsaid inexplicable

yet longed for is not here


I bet if I

was a mosquito or

any of a thousand

other creatures

I’d know
