we’ve all been thrown together

humans plants animals and

everything that clings to Earth

sometimes it feels like an experiment

some Chemist chose unknown

chemicals to stir together and

observe their reaction in a beaker

then put it on a Bunsen burner

to see how much heat it’ll need

to jump from liquid to gas or solid

or some other strange shift

my question is - how much more

boiling do you think it will

take before that happens?
