it’s concentrated

like expresso over light roast

or fudge over chocolate souffle

like a hug over a handshake

                       or

the taste of one homemade cookie

to a whole box of store-bought

a good one is like the stick

you would grab if stuck in the

quicksand of typical writings

read two

and look for a hand

to pull you all the way out
