The Old Burrow - May 9, 2024

Gary Hunter

Do you have a home

as comfortable as an old

burrow to an old rabbit

every nook  a well-worn purpose

a shady yard to lounge in  glowing

with light and warmth at night

on my busier days  I feel like

a thrown boomerang

arcing around obstacles

to come back around

and skid to a soft stop

at my front door
