a favored hummingbird spot

sheriffed by the resident hummer

an easy-going type who accepts the

risk with so many flower raiders around

he keeps an eye out for laggards

and lingerers  flashing his badge

and if it needs to be said:

just finish your drink and skedaddle

I’m the law and this ain’t no free country!
