as a full range believer

over the course of my life,

I feel I understand agnostics,

non-believers and followers,

that God is either an unknowable

power, a created idea or

some entity-creator that yields

immense influence in our lives

in my experience it’s curious to note

that those lacking any devotion

will shout or think in a crisis moment

Oh God, help me!

the only reason I can come up with,

is it doesn’t hurt to beg for assistance

just in case a “God” is listening,

and with his highly advertised forgiveness,

might lend the right amount of aid

to earn a brand new admirer
