An Atmosphere that Doesn't Care - April 24, 2026

morning awakens with a gentle fuss of leaves a baby’s breath of wind wrapped in bird song Did you see the debate for our next Governor? Yes, I’m torn between a couple packages of words sun bows to clouds, leaves settle, I sit, my hands lap-folded, pressed in silence wordless, formless, the atmosphere doesn’t care Must it matter, the world beyond my backyard?

Finally Found a Fit - April 23, 2026

I made a life of perfecting agreeable, learning very late in the game the power of NO and everything changed no longer a forced shape, I unfolded into the puzzle piece that became the real me which found a fit in the world now I’ve gone back to relive childhood under lots of wrinkles and the groan of joints with baggy eyes sometimes bubbling with life and smiles hiding a mouth of mischief

An Island to Beach It - April 22, 2026

. . . a hand cast adrift into an empty sea of air, helpless, until there on the horizon, an island to beach it . . .
