A Message Burns - June 17, 2025

one fiery car would be enough

but cameras show two in flames

over and over, across the world in ten

thousand cities and millions of times

chaos burns in the immigrant streets of L.A.

smoke in the faces of peaceful

protestors has spread to the

eyes of those who weren’t there

their message of acceptance

and mercy, ruined by a pair

of Molotov cocktails

tossed into cars

that will burn forever
