After the Warranty Expires - March 16, 2024

time will take a shattered bone

and return it the same or stronger

may replace a good job with a better one

or swap crushed love for a better model

for many lives   time has a generous policy

sends free upgrades   do it yourself

fixes   even refunds second chances

but once the warranty expires

it’s a life of broken parts

and patches for loneliness

and the last wheelchair we use

will be pushed by memories

having trouble walking themselves
