I still smile big    laugh loudand paint my world with bright colorsaware there’s another worldof injustice  cruelty and deaththat roams outside my dooram I the only one with two realitieswho screens what they let enterand monitors time spent outsideafraid of bringing back a stowawaythat may refuse to leave?recently  death has wandered up to my windowand when I see him out the cornerof my eye  probing for any stumblerschest holders    the spoon fed or the weak and wheeledI straighten my aching backand squash a groanbehind the widest spreadof my lips
