Altared Vows - Jan. 23, 2022

“Till you break my favorite crystal”

“Till you forget our anniversary

two years in a row”

“Till you burn three roasts”

“Till you total my car”

“Till you fail to feed the dogs

for a whole day while I’m gone”

Why does it have to be

Till death do us part?

maybe because

by the time one of those

promises are broken

we’re already floundering

in that very large

ocean of affection
