Breathe Me - Sept. 10, 2020

dawn’s blue shade of sky

might stop you in your tracks

or that first sip of cool air

or maybe one extraordinary riff

from a mockingbird

a door to their deepest core

that one or two moments

are able to push open

this morning I stopped the wind

and said

just for a change you breathe me
