Easy to Justify - May 24, 2022

a poem-less day

for the poet

worn out by chores

or a painter passing

10 times by the canvas

ignoring the call

or the musician

who eats on his keyboard

and never cleans the crumbs

in a house of two

it’s hard to

stop the easy urge

easy to disregard

the challenging one
