I bet there was one thing

that set you up

for that downfall?

one strand of hair

that hit sunlight and

made you lose your balance

or a smile that stuck out

a foot and tripped you up

skinned your knees

some sound of their voice

that ordered you to fall

face first in the grass

guess none of you who fell

the first time would have

listened to watch your step

but if you hear it
