Just Winging It - June 27, 2024

things happen that unplan our plans

and precautions and tidy schedules

something shot out of a cannon

we didn’t have time to duck

look  I think we all know

there’s a mysterious painter

painting a much much bigger picture of us

in this universe with some brush strokes

altering the impetus of the painting

as if the painter changed their mind

to take it in a new direction

yes  it very well could be

there’s no blueprint at all

and they’re just winging it

which of course does nothing about

our fate though it still doesn’t hurt

to keep the eyes open

for those cannon balls falling

from blue skies
