The First AI Teacher - April, 17, 2025

Okay class, today is my last day with all of you and I won’t miss you a bit.  Just kidding!  Starting tomorrow you will have a new teacher who is extremely intelligent and most likely very strict. She will give lots of homework, loves pop quizzes and encourages thesis-type papers to prove you understand the material you will be taught.  I’ve heard she is very aware and won’t miss a spitball, snide comment, snicker, passed note, text, offensive gesture or even a whisper. This instructor apparently has eyes and ears in the back of her head and will also know if you’re lying about an original thought whether written or spoken.

If any of you continue with any of these infractions, I understand she will make you sit next to her the rest of the school day and make you do an assignment designed especially for you, to hate.

So, l’m going to let this day be the easiest school day you will have for a long time. Because your future is in the hands of something so much smarter than you or I will ever be.  You might want to pray when you get home tonight to see if the God you believe in has any advice for surviving the rest of the year.
