if Christian thinking doesn’t

do it for you, you might turn

to the East for help, get a guru

find a teaching, meditate

for those that don’t believe, there’s

always humanism, fate or free will,

selfish or selfless, all for one

or one for all, yeah there’s a lot

so many theories, models, approaches

I gave each one a good run

but found no tactic ever beached

me on any fantasy island

so I dropped my reaching and rushing

seeking and hoping, let them go

and now live loose

in each moment

I found peace there

and an easy kind of love
