or maybe one shooting star

chasing another

for many, I believe it happens in

bits and pieces - fast friends that faded,

best friends who remain bright

a few lovers who ignited the passion

in our hearts, others that stole it

I know my life is told in a

thousand tiny love stories

easily read on most nights

shimmering in the dark sky
