Untamed Stallion - Sept. 26, 2024

the nice thing about a pen

is that it is generally not impulsive

in the time it takes to jot a thought

down  corrections are in motion

clarity and built-in logic seem to

herd feeling into an enclosure

for harnessing and rideability

where a mouth can be the stallion

brought in straight off the prairie

so untamed it can seriously hurt

a listener and damage the moment

if not

the regrettably vast amount of time

broken trust takes to heal
