Who Drew that Bath? Jan. 4, 2022

Interesting how my life

runs in hot and cold circles

in search of warm

not just my personal weather

but these emotions that enjoy

roller coasters of excitement

before they jump the track

and have to walk home

or like the lazy horse

that refuses to be touched

but if in a mood to run

takes the rider on a sprint

throwing caution to the wind

which makes today the day

after the hubbub of Thanksgiving

while on a slow dog walk and

transfixed by a morning sun

the moment that stops

and puts me in the bathtub

of a daydream filled with the

perfect temperature

for doing and saying

nothing
