they’re like an overly hot sun

when you’re chilly and

just wanted to warm up

 

a super pep talk

when you’re already

in a great space

 

or a flash flood

when all you wanted

was a drink of water

 

if you’ve ever eaten one

you’d know they’re like

a blackberry coated in honey

 

not measurable

on the Richter scale
