retirement is the body and mind

telling your spirit   relax   

sit    share the sofa with us

but do you really want to do that?

that force inside you may have life

after the other two pass away

so why not encourage it

to play the albatross 

and ride it to those

unknown shores

much of your former life

was probably dragging a cranky

over-loaded cart behind you

now your cargo is much lighter

gravity no longer a problem

and you know dreams

they are already airborne

so all you have to do is grab one

and hold on
