The Nosy Intern - Nov. 24, 2020

I study light in my off hours

of course I am an ignorant physicist

or at best a nosy intern

but it appears that luminescence when

pressed twisted and folded becomes the

solid breathing moving colored

animated thing called life

and when we die I do wonder

what takes our rusted luster

buffs and twists it into

a kicking screaming birth

which theoretically might appear

as a neon light bulb just turned on

or maybe more like

two moons pawing at clouds

to get a look at the brightness

staring down from another pair of eyes
